Purpose<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The primary responsibility of the Procurement Superintendent is to oversee and coordinate the procurement of goods for the business operations, ensuring that purchases are made cost-effectively, on time, and in compliance with the Company policies and quality standards<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

This position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Safety: <\/b><\/p>\n

Maintain the highest standard of health and safety performance by implementing a personal safety plan, exhibiting behaviours consistent with zero tolerance, leading -by example with colleagues, team members and suppliers and acting in accordance with Kansanshi Health and Safety policies.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Leadership: <\/b><\/p>\n

Building ever-increasing capability within the Procurement Team, setting medium and long-term objectives aligned with Commercial goals, identifying opportunities for improved team structure and positioning, and developing new skill sets to enhance future capability. Ensuring team members are aware of and actively working toward Procurement targets, measuring performance through a leadership dashboard with meaningful metrics, and escalating issues requiring senior leadership support. Addressing business-critical situations with a sense of urgency.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
