hydrogeologist with field inspections and monitoring\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Drill supervision<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Data collection at drill rigs<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Borehole construction in conjunction with drill contractors<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Grouting activities<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Monitoring and flow data collection<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Geophysical survey traverse marking and managing bush-clearing activities<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Pit inspections<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Database data inputs<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Carry out hydraulic test-work under the supervision of the hydrogeologist<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Assist<\/span><span> with installation and maintenance of borehole infrastructure<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Assist<\/span><span> with hydrogeological mapping<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Supervision and logistical coordination of drill-site clearing and pad construction<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Ensure that all groundwater related incidents are reported and investigated<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Liaise with geology, mine planning, <\/span><span>survey<\/span><span> and mining operations, where required <\/span><span>in order to<\/span><span> perform tasks assigned by hydrogeologist<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Night shift may be <\/span><span>required<\/span><span> if the need arises<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Ensure that the open pit mine site is always safe from a groundwater perspective, and effectively <\/span><span>assist<\/span><span> in the management of the groundwater resources to ensure efficient dewatering and water quality monitoring<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Job Specific<\/b><b> <\/b><b>Competencies<\/b><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Competency in carrying out hydrogeological operations, under the guidance of the Trident hydrogeologist to ensure safe and stable groundwater conditions<\/span><span>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>A good understanding of mine safety and hydrogeological practices in compliance with best practice standards<\/span><span>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span>Key <\/span><span>Job Attributes<\/span><\/b><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Must have a thorough methodical approach to routine tasks and problem solving<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Must be willing to work with and assimilate experience from colleagues from a variety of skills and national
