{"id":108582,"date":"2026-04-17T01:01:35","date_gmt":"2026-04-17T01:01:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/firstquantumcareers.com\/commercial-officer\/"},"modified":"2026-04-21T17:31:33","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T17:31:33","slug":"commercial-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/firstquantumcareers.com\/es\/commercial-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"Commercial Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Overall Job Purpose <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure full accountability for all items under his\/her responsibility and maintain highest standard of housekeeping and safety by adhering to Company Safety Rules, Standards and Policy.<\/li>\n<li><span>To provide excellent service to end users.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span>Specific Job Responsibility <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sales to staff, other FQM Companies and Contractors \u2013 Process all sales to TRI saff, other FQM Companies, as well as to contractors in pronto after ensuring that the sale is duly approved.<\/li>\n<li>Raising and issuing of item quotations in pronto.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing of daily sales report<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and sending outstanding sales orders report to end-users for review.<\/li>\n<li>Making legal entries on matters of health and Safety in the Mining Regulation Log Book (requires legal appointment).<\/li>\n<li>Dispatching and processing of pickslips in pronto<\/li>\n<li>Cancels pickslips in pronto<\/li>\n<li>Raise pickslips in pronto<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out stocktakes and bin maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Files pickslips and putaway reports\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Carries out regular housekeeping (Clean As You Go) to maintain a safe work environment<\/li>\n<li>Operates forklifts and other warehouse materials handling equipment equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Picks and and issues items<\/li>\n<li>Investigates stock discrepancies and stock queries to determine the cause and solution to the problems.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Checks and inspects received items for conformance to Specification, Quantity &amp; Quality before binning.<\/li>\n<li>Rejection and acceptance of items with regards to quality and conformance to specification<\/li>\n<li>Raise gate passes for outbound materials after physical verification.<\/li>\n<li>Works\/liaises cross-functionally with other sections such as Accounts, procurement and the Receiving sections, Logistics and end-users.<\/li>\n<li>Expedites items that are about to run out of stock to ensure speedy replenishment.<\/li>\n<li>Updates locations for newly stocked items and items with changed locations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Job Specific Competencies <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to find better ways to execute tasks. Customer oriented.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to make cost efficient suggestions.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with minimum supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in\u00a0 shifts as and when required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key Job Attributes<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Must be dependable and self-motivated.<\/li>\n<li>Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Accurate and precise attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Unquestionable integrity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Experience required to perform in this job<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft office i.e. Excel, Word and Power Point \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of basic health and safety.<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years\u2019 experience in similar position<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12 Certificate.
